How do I copy / paste from the terminal?

Copy

Copy in one of the those ways:

  • Ctrl+C*

  • Ctrl+Shift+C

  • Right-click the selected text

Paste

Paste in one of the those ways:

  • Ctrl+V*

  • Ctrl+Shift+V

  • Right-click

If you want to use Ctrl+C/V to copy/paste, please enable [Use Ctrl + C/V to copy/paste] option from [Preferences] [Terminal] [Setting] [Shortcut Key].

In the Windows, CRLF is automatically converted to LF when pasting text. If you don't want to use this feature, please use Ctrl+Shift+V, or uncheck Convert CRLF to LF when pasting text to the terminal option from [Preferences] [Terminal] [Setting] [Paste].

How to allow the clipboard permission?

When using this function, press Allow in the pop-up in the upper left corner of the browser.

If the pop-up does not come out separately, you should check the following image to enter the site setting and allow clipboard permission.

You can enter the site setting by pressing the left icon of the address bar.

In Site Settings, you must go to the permissions list and change the clipboard permission to Allow.

The images were captured based on Google Chrome, and other browsers provide permission setting in a similar way.
